Join Our National Movement for Hauora in Aotearoa
Are you an experienced operations or project manager with a heart for hauora, people, and purpose?
HineHau is growing, and we’re looking for a Operations & Support Lead | Kaiwhakahaere to join our kaupapa, helping us spread the ripple effect of breath across Aotearoa.
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a nationwide movement that weaves together Breath Practitioners Trainings, leadership, and holistic wellbeing for wāhine. You’ll work closely with our founder, Shannon Rose, to bring structure, flow, and momentum to the next phase of HineHau’s journey.
About the Role
You’ll be the operational backbone of HineHau - coordinating the details that allow our kaupapa to flourish. From event planning and client communication to managing systems and creating resources, you’ll ensure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes.
This role is ideal for someone who is:

- Excited to grow alongside a kaupapa that is expanding nationally
Your Key Responsibilities
- Event Management: Coordinate venues, catering, logistics, and participant communication for our trainings and retreats
- Client & Community Care: Manage emails, track communications, and support a seamless client experience
- Collateral & Resource Creation: Help design and compile resources for our trainings (using Canva)
- Website & Portal Management: Maintain Kajabi (our course and website platform)
- Social Media & Newsletters: Support content scheduling and send bi-monthly newsletters
- Onsite Event Support: Be present at events/trainings when required
- Business Strategy: Work alongside Shannon to plan and implement HineHau’s growth vision
Skills & Experience
You’ll need:
- 2+ years’ recent experience in administration, project management, events, or similar
- Excellent organisation, time management, and communication skills
- Confidence working across systems like Kajabi, Canva, and Gmail
- A proactive, independent, and heart-centered work ethic
Bonus points if:
- You are a hauora or wellness practitioner, or have a personal connection to breathwork or holistic healing
- You’ve supported a kaupapa Māori or purpose-led organisation before
Location & Commitment
Although most of the work will be remote, we prefer someone based in Bay of Plenty or Auckalnd region. However, applicants based elsewhere in the North Island will also be considered.
This is a contract role, starting with minimal hours and expanding as we approach our next training in February 2026.
Payment
You can choose between:
- An hourly rate (contractor) arrangement, or
- A contra option, where you join the HineHau Practitioner Training as a participant
